At my time with the dating lab, I worked on two projects, the design of a SAGA dating site, and this site for the Telegraph newspaper. I designed the concept and developed the front-end. In the design stage I tried to innovate beyond what was usually a straight rebrand by reinvisaging the profile page. My ideas were well received and adopted into the templates. I also wanted to put in some progressive enhancement, so I am employing CSS3 to good effect for example with the profile pic, using transforms and box shadows.

Smirnoff required a site for its sales reps on the road to be able to download and showcase customer focused POS related materials for existing and potential customers.

Sky Mobile TV

I was assigned the task of coding this website for Sky’s iPhone Apps. A requirement was that the site be built using HTML5. For the site’s video’s I used the video tag for compatibility with the iPhone which falls back to a Flash player on desktop browsers. I also used jQuery for various other interactive elements such as the iPhone gallery.

Gorillaz.com

I worked on the design and front-end development of two key sections on gorillaz.com, launched alongside the album Plastic Beach. The two pages were the plastic page experience page and the gclub page. My responsibilities included creating new graphics and styles, html, css and adding a lightbox gallery. The site was built using Joomla.

RBi Job sites

This large project involved the rebranding of 12 RBI company job sites. I restyled each of the different brands. Once these were approved, I then build the HTML and CSS for every page needed. I then adapted the CSS for each of the 12 job sites and implemented this code with the developers.

The brief was not to re-design, but more refresh/enhance an exisiting site, so keeping the same general layout. I designed a new header, login area, added some nice design elements such as the grass, and made the site look a bit more tidy in general.
